Midweek Update 2019-12-18
Been a busy week in the dayjob, extended production outage that's finally over and now I get to write the report on it yay. I can spare the cycles and attention for Dynamic Balances.
Got a logo for the game mechanic, slapped it on the cover, you'll see it this Sunday. Some folks on Discord, who helped me workshop it on the RPG Talk server, thanks Tam for the font, have already seen this. For obvious reasons, I'm keeping the mechanics and gameworld development mostly behind the patron curtain, but I'm also trying to do my game development out in the open as it were.
Speaking of which, I'm continuing the revision on the Actions chapter. It needed major truing-up and editing, and has a couple of sections that aren't done. I got the two Healing sections merged, a few bits moved elsewhere in the chapter or to other chapters, and some redundant text cut. This impacts word count, but quality over quantity, right? I'm working on the incomplete Consequences section now. Hopefully there will be more progress later in the week, once I get caught up with the stuff that I couldn't do while I was on a bridge call.
